Most creditors use this score ranking. It’s nice to have it so conveniently to help creditors know about my score status in lieu of a credit check.
Only one score is free And the selling credit cards. You have to subscribe to gain access to the other two. Save your money and get them free from Credit Karma and Experian App.
Despite the ads promoting this and Apple’s failure to explain this is a subscription that starts at $29.95 per month and goes up from there.
The app is an excellent way to keep track of one’s credit score and history. The nominal monthly fee gives a three bureau FICO score. Using this app about of the cusp of reaching 720+ in a few months. I started in the low 500’s! I think utilizing this app cultivates the incentive and discipline to obtain the highest scores possible. Its credit score simulator is the best which allows users the ability to custom plan their path to 720+ Anything 720’s and above opens up many financial possibilities!
Won’t tell me what they’re tracking or how to stop it.
Nice.
There is simply no option to create an account. If you try to retrieve your login, it will tell you to make a phone call. C’mon people, it is 2025.
Only showed Experian and not Equifax or TransUnion.
Muy bien
Keep up the good work
The subscription is not worth the cost when banks give this info for free. Also experian give free updates on their page. The myFICO basically updates when you get charged and it’s not 100% accurate.
I’m sorry but I have to uninstall this app before ever using it. Nothing against the developers but I’m getting tired of seeking out an app installing it and then finding out there are multiple “pay for “ the apps use. I think the developers or sponsor should make it free or put the plans in the page before you download it.
I don’t think the price should be that expensive when you’re checking your own credit.
Very disappointed misleading information that they have on this site versus other sites don’t waste your money it’s not very accurate. They say stuff on there that you’re late and it’s not true he careful.
This is the best app to keep up with your credit score. It’s worth every penny! anyone interested in keeping up with the credit score accurately should get this app.
myFICO advertises free credit scores, but you have to pay to see them when you download the app
Seems ok so far. But what is stupid is paying 30 a month and only getting scores every three months. I’ll be canceling and then paying only every three months then.
Upon trying to sign up for a free plan, they claim Equifax couldn’t provide my report (which has to be a lie), then offered me the option to sign up for the paid plan (which is a total ripoff). Bracing for all kinds of spams now that they have my complete personal info.
It show inaccurate credit details it alerted me that my score went up 72 points then it dropped 72 points with no change to my credit report. I notice it goes up the next day it drops back down then goes back up, at one point, I thought that my score was actually fluctuating, but after recent approvals and checking other apps, I realize that this system is faulty, and I’m not going to use it anymore. I’m soon to deactivate this account because who wants to and have the panic of thinking that they lost 72 points for nothing. Today I got an alert that my credit score had changed and when I logged in to check my credit score, it was the exact same so the email was false. *Update: I just received my 2nd alert of the day about my score changing so I looked again and I gained 73 points, this service is faulty and glitchy.
Paid for a month and quickly canceled. My FREE experian app has been giving me way more updates almost daily and fico app does nothing. 40 bucks stolen! so useless.
Scores aren’t accurate!
It’s a lot of money to spend for incorrect information. For months now it’s been saying that I have late payments in the last two months. I haven’t had a late payment in the last five years. I cannot see the late payment on the actual Equifax site. It only shows up on the Fico app. After some Google searches, I see that it’s a known issue so I will be uninstalling this and using the Experian app.
Useless customer service
For 5 years they didn’t count me paying my bills or anything. My credit score is zero 0 now due to travel overseas as I couldn’t offer living in USA. Now I’m not able to rent or do anything in the country due to credit score zero. They destroyed my life. When I called them they laughed at me I’ll never forget that
Extremely expensive for just monitoring and nothing of value added. Simulator was why I got it and it just gives different fico scores based on what fico model a company uses. Pretty useless garbage app.
Sold my phone number within a day. Now i get phone calls about loans and financing everyday.
Fantastic since it is the real score.
Does not work with ITIN number. I was not well attended to on the phone.
MyFICO is the only real deal. Thank you for providing the true score.
I usually don’t write reviews, but I had to this is a wonderful app. You guys are phenomenal thank you guys thank you guys thank you guys. I will be a long-term subscription Payer everything on this app is accurate to the .Thank you guys
Although I really liked the app and ease of navigating, I only cancelled because Experian offers the same information at over $10.00 less. I’m not really doing anything with my credit, so I just have a subscription to monitor everything. With that, cheaper for the same information is just a better option to be able to just have it. If the prices are closer or more competitive, I’ll definitely rather use my fico.
App works fine, credit score is predatory. This metric for grading humans can kiss my butthole.
Dishonest and Misleading. I would pay a small fee for an app that allows me to see my FICO score… and they advertise this as FREE. BUT when you get into the app, your ONLY option now is to sign up for a subscription service??? Total scam. Avoid at all costs.
Downloaded app and paid for membership but was not granted access to account. The money was taken from account but MyFico app kept giving error message. Called customer service and they advised there was nothing that they could do. I was advised to wait 24hours then call back and request refund.
Your information gathering rates 1 in 100 Information is out dated and incorrect I am very upset that you haven’t corrected mistakes
Using iOS 18, now it often crashes when I try to close the pop-up that always appears when opening the app. Obviously this app is now unusable the majority of the time and there’s been no software update in over 3 months.
Free subscription only gives you access to one credit bureau - Experian. If you want to see anything more (which is the whole intention of downloading this app) then you have to subscribe to one of their paid plans. Delete.
It’s too expensive. I want my money back!!!
As far as accuracy and updated information on your credit report and credit score, is great, but the app itself not so great. Always lagging and moving slow for me, and also never updates after my monthly subscription has been paid, I always get locked out!
Has the wrong score found out my accurate score is higher
App immediately crashes upon opening and dismissing the pop up
Doesn’t provide enough info and it cost way too much to get the other scores and information..
Of all the basic credit report/score sites and apps out there (CreditWise, Karma & Sesame, WalletHub, etc), most of which give you your VantageScore, except Experian’s site which does provide you with your FICO 8 score for free (but not much else without paying), the myFICO app is by far the best. Even AnnualCreditReport (technically weekly now) doesn’t provide a score, FICO or VS. Not only because it’s part of FICO itself, but the wealth of info here is incredible, it’s laid out well, pretty easy to navigate, and aesthetically pleasing. However, it’s VERY expensive; $39.99 for the top tier subscription, which still only provides a 3-bureau report refresh once a month. I mean, come on. For $40 bucks a month? Look, I want to be up to date and able to check my credit regularly, and I like the fact it’s coming directly from FICO, but even the standard paid tier is $29.99. That’s also a lot for one month with less benefits than the premier price. 4/5 starts solely due to the expense.
The app had a great UI/UX with useful info .. for the most part. My request is to please make the credit and identity monitoring alerts easier to understand and act upon. I have no idea what the credit alerts mean or what to do with them.
It reports only Equifax which consistently reports partial credit and rates down about 30-40 points below the other bureaus. You are pushed toward expensive monthly subscriptions to get your accurate credit reporting to include other reporting agencies. Of the numerous apps available, I found CreditWise, Credit Karma, Experian, etc to be more accurate and helpful.
I’ve had this app for at least 5 or 6 years and love it. However, I’m temporarily knocking it down a star because lately I keep getting logged out, then asked to sign back in and create a new PIN. I don't like this new trend at ALL. For years, this app worked exactly as it should: easy access on your own device by entering your pin. Being logged out (again, on your own device) and asked to re-enter a password all the time is annoying and disconcerting; if it continues, then I’ll have to look at canceling and going with a different service.
$40 a month? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHA who do you think you are?
If you try to check your score for free they say it isn’t available. Then when you try to delete your account they say it isn’t possible. Even called their customer service and my time was wasted. They will hold your data hostage, STAY AWAY.
